Congo : Between war and peace.
In Bunia and all the region of Ituri (North West of Congo), in a few years of war, everything has changed.
Lots of people were killed or escaped to the south of the country and Uganda.
Children are the first to suffer of the situation. When they're not killed or kidnapped, they're recruited in militias. A weapon in the hand, they show their power and their vulnerability.
Since the UN soldiers arrived, the area seems more stable, even if murders and rapes are still committed. The conflict is interethnic but the deep reason is, as usual, coming from the man's exploitation of man.
